The service uses Google Analytics to collect non-personal information about your actions in the system, pages visited and clicks. Cookies are used for this purpose. This is done to improve the service and understand how users interact with the service.

Third party services

Subglish uses YouTube API Services: videos are found through the YouTube Data API and play in YouTube’s official embedded player. The subtitles of the videos you open are processed on our server to show translations over the player; Subglish does not hand out subtitle files. By using Subglish you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service.

Word translations, definitions and examples are generated by OpenAI. Only the words themselves and the pair of languages are sent to OpenAI, never your name, email address or account.

Payments for PRO are handled by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record and payment processor. To process an order, Paddle receives your name, email address, country and payment details. Paddle processes this data under its own Privacy Policy.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by disabling cookies in your web browser. However, this may affect your ability to use the service. Authorization and the function of saving an individual dictionary of words for spaced repetition will not be available
